Since 2002 she has been conducting the orchestra of the Kyiv National Academic Operetta’s Theater.
Oksana Madarash is the directing conductor for: operetta “Die Fledermaus” by J. Strauss, operetta “Violet of Montmartre” by E. Kalman, F. Loewe’s musical “My Fair Lady”, J. S. Bach’s “Coffee Cantata”, comedy opera “The Little Bell” by G. Donizetti.
She is also the conductor of such performances as “Silva” and “Mr. X” by E. Kalman, “The Gypsy Baron” by J. Strauss, “The Count of Luxembourg” by F. Lehar, “A Dinner with the Italians” by J. Offenbach, “Such Jewish Luck” by I. Poklad, “May Night” by M. Lysenko, “An American Comedy” by M. Samoilov.
In the VI Regional festival of comedy “Golden applause of Bukovina” in 2010, she had conducted the performance of the Kyiv National Academic Operetta’s Theater – “A Dinner with the Italians” by J. Offenbach, for which the theater received two major awards – “For the best musical performance” and “For the best Execution of the lady’s part “.
Since 2012 is the conductor-director of the annual symphonic concert “Strauss in the Operetta” on the stage of the Kyiv National Academic Operetta’s Theater.
Conductor of the international project “Vivat, Offenbach!” (2016, with the support of the French Institute).
Conductor: Hungarian Music Night “The Pearl of the Danube” (2016, an international project with the support of the Hungarian Embassy in Ukraine), “Blues Symphony Cocktail” (2016, soloist Florian Feilmayr, with the support of the Austrian Cultural Forum), “Vivat, L’Operette” (2017), Gala Concert (2017, international project with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine), Anas Constan concert (2017, within the framework of the French Spring Festival), Ferenc Lehar (2015, within the framework of the international project the Kyiv National Academic Operetta’s Theater with the Budapest Theater of Operetta and Musical).
Participated in the VII, X, XI, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI International Operetta Festival (Kaunas, Lithuania), in the Gala Concerts (2011, Kaunas, Lithuania and the city of Kyiv) as part of the international joint project of the Kaunas State Musical Theater and the Kyiv National Academic Operetta’s Theater on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania. In 2014, she was the conductor of the performance “Seville Barber” by J. Rossini at the Kaunas State Musical Theater.
Also participates in other international festivals: “O-Fest” (Kyiv/Bucha), “French Spring” (Kyiv), “Golden applause of Bukovina” (Chernivtsi city), “Melpomene of Tavria” (Kherson), “Gogol Fest” (Poltava) and others.
